“Date a girl who takes photographs. Date a girl whose favorite sound is the click-click of the shutter as it closes and opens to capture a memory. Date a girl who sees the wonder in the simplest things. Date a girl who looks at the world and wonders how to put a little of herself in it.
You…

“Date a girl who reads. Date a girl who spends her money on books instead of clothes. She has problems with closet space because she has too many books. Date a girl who has a list of books she wants to read, who has had a library card since she was twelve.

Brooke Fraser
I love ” Who Are We Fooling”. It speaks of love. The truth of what love is: the hard, the struggle, but also the beauty. She’s so good with words. I wished that I wrote song as well as she did! I guess I am not going to try to make a cover of this song, just because it will be super weird if I were to sing it alone. Perhaps with my future non-existent boyfriend/husband/fiance. This is a lovely cover of the song:
So we’re back here again
Tip toeing round the edge of the end
Wondering who will be last to admit
That we’re finally over
Turned twenty one on the day that we met
Terrible shoes and plausible dress
It’s funny how sad the funny things get as you grow older
Better or worse
But what else can we do?
And better or worse
I am tethered to you
If it’s not either of us
Tell me who are we fooling?
I love the art of biting my tongue
I’m tired of trying to guess what was wrong
Both agreed on where we should go
But not how to get there
We tried and tried to loosen the knots
Thinking once we’re untangled we’ll be better off
But it’s these failures and faults that hold us together
Better or worse
But what else can we do?
And better or worse
I am tethered to you
If it’s not either of us
Tell me who are we fooling?
This beautiful tangle that’s bruising us blue
It’s a beautiful knot that we just can’t undo
Together we’re one but apart tell me
Who are we fooling?
Cause real love
Is hard love
It’s all we have
It’s a break-neck
Train wreck
It’s all we have
So we’re back here again
Turning away from the edge of the end
Arm in arm
Better or worse
But what else can we do?
And better or worse
I am tethered to you
If it’s not either of us
Tell me who are we fooling?
This beautiful tangle that’s bruising us blue
It’s a beautiful knot we just can’t undo
If it’s not either of us, tell me who are we fooling?
Together we’re one, but apart tell me
Who are we fooling? -

Rhythm Of Love Cover :D
Well, so this is my first attempt at harmonizing (so no laughing at me!) I tried really hard. I know there are still synchro and pitchy problems. But this song is a work in progress cos’ I love it so so so much! :) I had so much fun singing it!
Kudos to debbie for helping me with the chorus harmony (she was very patient with me!

Pitchy and timing problems again. But I love this song, because I love Wicked. And especially because I love good music with apt words and their ability to capture emotions so well. Music truly is a universal language
I just bought the Wicked book so I was excited to try an easy song (well, maybe this song is not THAT easy after all).

Several reasons why I did a cover of this song:
1) It’s so dreamy!
2) It’s hard to keep time, so really good to practice my guitar plucking as I dont have a metronome in school with me
3) I can relate to this song, very much.
4) It’s on Grey’s Anatomy’s OST - my favorite tv show of all time! :DPardon my poor time keeping. I hope you like it :)

Your Song. I know its suppose to be a Piano song. but I really had to get it out of my system. So here goes.

Through generations of story and song, words old and new repeat God’s refrain: I have loved you. I love you. I will love you
